Day 01: HANOI ARRIVE – FULL DAY CITY

Arrive in Hanoi, welcome at the airport by your guide and visit the city: the Temple of Literature and the Museum of Ethnology.Tour by cyclo (1h) and walk in the streets of old Hanoi and around Hoan Kiem Lake. Discover the Ngoc Son Pagoda. Enjoy Puppet Show and Dinner

 

Day 02: HANOI – THUNG NHAM – HOA LU

Visit the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu, made famous by the movie "Indochine". Discovery of the temples of Dinh kings, dating from the 10th century. Bike ride and boat trip on Halong Bay on land, in the middle of rice fields, natural caves and limestone peaks. Dinner discovery of goat pellets local specialty.

 

Day 03: HOA LU - HALONG

Depature to Ha Long. Traditional junk cruise through Halong Bay, famous landscape of 3000 islands and peaks emerging in the heart of the Gulf of Tonkin. Lunch of seafood on the waters of the 8th wonder of the world. Stopover to discover the natural caves. Dinner and overnight on board a traditional junk.

 

Day 04: HALONGNINH GIANG– HANOI 

Wake in the heart of Halong Bay and continuation of the cruise among the surrounding islands. Stop in the village of Bo Duong, cradle of water puppetry. Meeting with villagers and artisans who preserve their homemade. Private puppet show on the water. Overnight in Hanoi

 

Day 05: HANOI –LUANGPRABANG 

Visit the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, his former residence, the One Pillar Pagoda. Flight to Luang Prabang, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit the oldest temple in the city, Wat Visoun. Walk to the local night market where you can buy the Hmong crafts.

 

Day 06: LUANGPRABANG – KHOUANG SY – LUANG PRABANG 

Suggestion for early risers observation (without guide) of the ceremony offerings to the monks. Discovery of Ban Long Lao village to meet the Hmong minority. Departure for a walk (3h) to waterfall Khouang Sy. Picnic lunch in this natural atmosphere. Swimming in the clear waters of the waterfall, which are scattered in many basins. Suggestion: enjoy your evening massage. Overnight in hotel

 

Day 07: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU – LUANG PRABANG 

Mekong River Cruise (1:30) on a traditional boat. Visit the Pak Ou Caves, home for centuries hundreds of Buddha statues. Walk in the craft villages: Ban Phanom, populated by Tai Lu, renowned for the production of silk scarves and Ban Xang Khong, famous for the craft factory papers. On the way home, discovered two small forgotten temples nestled in the countryside: Wat Long Khoun and Vat Chompet. Dinner culinary discovery of a Lao dish: '' Mok Pa. ''

 

Day 08: LUANG PRABANG – SIEM REAP 

Continuation of the city tour by tuk-tuk: Wat Xieng Thong, the Temple of the Royal City (one of the jewels of the Laotian art), Wat May and the Royal Palace became the National Museum. Flight to Siem Reap (2h). Dinner show of traditional Khmer dances.Walk to the night market

 

Day 09: ANGKOR TEMPLES (SIEM REAP) 

Beginning of the visit by the most impressive mountain temples: Angkor Wat, dedicated to Vishnu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then discover the pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, dedicated to women. Overnight in hotel

 

Day 10: ANGKOR TEMPLES (SIEM REAP) 

Visit in this morning the temples of Preah Khan, whose name means "Sacred Sword" and Neak Pean, a small Buddhist temple designed for purification rituals. You continue with visits to temples and Chau Say Thommanon Tevoda the monastery Ta Prohm, a prisoner of the roots of the giant cheese. Discover the South Gate of Angkor Thom: the Bayon with its 216 faces, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. You will witness the sunset from the Pre Rup temple. Overnight in Siem Reap

 

Day 11: SIEMREAP – FLOATING VILLAGE KAMPONG KHLEANG – HCM CITY 

Departure to the lakeside village of Kampong Khleang, with its breathtaking landscapes: floodplain, water bodies out of sight, rice fields ... Walk in the village to meet the locals. Traditional boat ride on the canals. Picnic lunch with the locals. Free time in Siem Reap, to stroll in the city or shopping among its stalls. Flight to Saigon (1h). Pick up and transfer to the hotel

 

Day 12: HO CHI MINH – BEN TRE – HO CHI MINH CITY 

Departure to the Mekong Delta. Cruise on the Mekong River to discover the daily activities of its inhabitants. Attend brick making and coconut fiber. Continue to the coves of Cai Nhon and Son Thanh where local families have specialized in the manufacture of mats. Tasting of seasonal fruit. Bike ride through rice fields and vegetable crops. Lunch with the locals. Rowing boat trip in the creek Cai Coi. Back to the Sai Gon in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel

 

Day 13: HO CHI MINH –CITY TOUR

City tour: the old colonial quarters, post office, market, outside the Reunification Palace, City Hall, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the War Museum. Walk in Chinatown, Binh Tay market and Thien Hau Temple. Free time for shopping or last visit in Sai Gon. Overnight in hotel

 

Day 14: HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE 

Rest of the day is free at your leisure till we transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight home.
