Day 1:

 

06.00    Pickup from major hotels in Bangkok downtown area

(you may BOOK at our Bangkok hotel - Hotel de Bangkok for a special deal)

Depart to Kanchanaburi province (128 km. to the west of Bangkok)

09.00    Visit Thailand–Burma Railway Center an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway.

Visit Allied War Cemetery, resting-place for more than 6,000 Allied prisoners of war (POWs). Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by allied POWs

12.00    Take a long–tailed boat on River Kwai to your hotel: River Kwai Jungle Rafts

Check–in and have Lunch at the hotel upon arrival.

14.45    Take a long–tailed boat downstream to Resotel Pier

Continue on road to visit Hell Fire Pass Memorial.

Back to the hotel

19.00    Dinner at the hotel

Witness the traditional Mon Dance Show (45 minutes)

Overnight at the hotel

 

Day 2

 

07.00    American Breakfast

08.00    Take a long-tailed boat ride upstream to Sai Yoke Yai Waterfalls & National Park

Return for Lunch at the hotel

13.00    Visit Lawa Cave, explore the fascinating stalactite

Afternoon at own leisure (Optional tours: Canoeing or Mountain Biking)

19.00    Dinner and overnight at the hotel

 

Day 3

 

07.00    American Breakfast

08.30    Visit nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village (Optional tours: Elephant Ride)

11.00    Check-out from the hotel

11.40    Lunch at a local restaurant

13.00    Take a historic ride on Death Railway Train through magnificent scenery, passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs

14.20    Journey back to Bangkok
