We here to show you a different Hanoi from the eyes of Hanoian. The Hanoi’s outskirt bike tour gives you an interesting insight in to area of Hanoi that few people know about – the other side of red river, it’s island and faming area.

 Itinerary :

 

Meet your tour guide at our bike shop 23 Nguyen Khac Nhu Street, Hanoi for a short introduction and safety briefing. 

Leave the the built up streets of Hanoi via a scenic road winding through the city’s Old Quarter, through the urban outskirts and into the countryside.  We pass the oldest bridge, Long Bien Bridge which was built by a famous Eiffel Construction company at the beginning of the 20th Century.

You will follow the path along the dyke of Red river then stroll in the middle of paddle with the green from local vegetables and local fruits, we are heading to the oldest Bat trang Pottery village in the north of Vietnam. When we get there, we will take a closer look and admire the skill of villagers forming the products in few factories and understand how they do it from the guide come along with you on tour.

Climb back on the bike to continue exploring the area, passing over small temple, you can know more about the religion in this area.

From here, you hop back on your bike and ride in to luxury living area of Hanoian, where you and see lovely villages and Apartment surrounding by flowers and trees.

This biking tour will give you a unique insight in to life in Vietnamese outskirt and by the time you pull back into Hanoi, you will have worked up an appetite ready to feast on delicious lunch.

Afternoon, time for you to discover the sights, sounds, and smells of suburb area.  Experience the beauty of Vietnam’s scenery as you cycle through back roads and along the banks of the Red River.  See local villagers at work as your guide points out traditional rural activities and sights.  We will stop at a local Bonsai garden before visiting another local house where you will get to meet the house owners, have a cup of tea and enjoy some local fruits.(or stop at coffee shop somewhere)

Continue cycling through the relaxing banana and vegetable farming area in the middle of the Red River Island.  There will be an opportunity to stop and take photos of the surrounds as well as the locals working on their farms and even bathing on the banks of the Red River.

We then head off to the pottery village of Quang Ba where ceramics are stacked waiting to be taken into Hanoi by bicycle.  The route also takes you past  the Red River’s floating houses and fields of colorful flowers.  Depending on the time you may get to see the locals picking the flowers which are then taken into Hanoi.

Continue cycling on the back road along the river to get back to our bike shop in Hanoi.  Your guide will assist you to get a taxi back to your hotel.
