Day1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR HOCHIMINH 

Arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel.

Renamed Ho Chi Minh City in 1976 after the departure of the Americans, the former South Vietnamese capital Saigon kept as the name for the majority of its 4.5 million inhabitants. Saigon is the largest city in the country and has established itself early as the economic capital, it includes 12 urban districts and six rural districts stretching over 2,000 km². It does not flow time of day or night without the streets resound with the incessant honking and roar of thousands of motorcycles plying the city. Day 2: HO CHI MINH – MY THO – HO CHI MINH 

Breakfast.Drive to My Tho (about 2:00). An extensive network of thousands of channels characterized life in the Mekong Delta which spans 40,000 km². The yellow color of the water is due to land which fertilizes throughout the year fields and rich Delta orchards. Located 72 km south of Saigon, My Tho is the capital of the province of Tien Giang. The Mekong River, 4 500 km long runs into the China Sea through 9 arms that form the Mekong Delta.Visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Then transfer by boat to an island where you enjoy seasonal fruits harvested in orchards of the island. You will visit a traditional house.

Then ride on small boats (3-6 persons / boat) amidst a forest of palm trees. Change of scenery.Lunch in an orchard.Return to Saigon in the late afternoon.Dinner cruise with musical atmosphere.Hotel accommodation

 

Day 3: HO CHI MINH – DANANG – HOI AN 

In the morning, continuation of the visit of the city with: the Church Cha Tam Binh Tay market (the largest of Cholon), Giac Lam Pagoda, Chinatown Cholon with the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady (Tien Hau). Then, visit the "Big Market" born in 1778: once suburb of Saigon, now become the district No. 5 Ho Chi Minh City, home to some 500,000 Vietnamese of Chinese origin. Day 4: HOI AN 

Breakfast.The ancient town of Hoi An, trading post classified by UNESCO, is one of the major attractions of the Danang area with over 800 buildings of historical interest. Note when visiting Hoi An, perfect state of preservation of many of the most famous houses in the street is Tan Ky House at No. 101.Departure to visit the old town of Hoi An Tour Fujian Sanctuary, Phuc Thanh Pagoda, the old wooden houses and the Japanese bridge.Lunch in town.

In the afternoon, depart for a cruise on the Thu Bon River. Day 5: HOI AN – HUE 

Breakfast then departure to Hue. Stop on the way to visit Cham Museum in Danang, (built in 1916) which includes the finest collection of art of Champa (Cham kingdom dating from the 4th and 10th century) visible in Asia.Drive to Hue (3:00) through the famous route of the Cloud Pass where you will have a beautiful view on the peninsula of Lang Co.Arrive in Hue.Former imperial capital from 1802 to 1945, Hue is an expensive city in the heart of Vietnamese scholars. Declared historical heritage by UNESCO since 1993, Hue offers its visitors many historical sites still well preserved.

Visit the Imperial Citadel built between 1805 and 1832 under the model of the Chinese imperial palace. There remain many vestiges of this city.Dinner in a restaurant.Accommodation at the hotel.

 

Day 6: HUE 

Breakfast.Boat trip on the Perfume River to the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady.Situated along the Perfume River, she knows from afar with its octagonal tower. Day 7: HUE – FLIGHT TO HANOI 

Breakfast.Transfer to Hue Airport for the flight to Hanoi.

Unified capital of Vietnam, Hanoi has retained the old world charm of the French colonial era. The modernization of the city taken by the French in 1882 lasted until 1955 and the face of Hanoi has not changed much since. Some remarkably preserved or restored buildings stand a harmonious architectural ensemble. Hanoi is undoubtedly the most charming city of Vietnam with all its authenticity, large shady avenues, numerous lakes and manicured gardens.Lunch during the visit.You will perform a cyclo tour (1h30) in the city center, the old Hanoi and its small shopping streets: Street silk, cotton street, also called the "District of 36 corporations" ... Day 8: HANOI – CITY TOUR HANOI 

Breakfast.Full day guided tour of the capital with: Mausoleum Ho Chi Minh in Ba Dinh Square, imposing marble and granite monument which takes the form of a stylized lotus, built from 1973 to 1975 through voluntary work young Pioneers. Breakfast.Departure for Hoa Binh Muong countries. Ethnic minority that has kept its customs, morals and beliefs. They still live in a matriarchal system, grow rice and slash and burn practice hunting; a great moment of Ethnology ... Visit a village market on the way. Arrive in Hoa Binh, visit a Muong village. To Ninh Binh, located 114 km south of Hanoi, the ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties which you will visit the temples.

Day 10: HOA LU – HAIPHONG

Then continue with the visit of the cave of Bich Dong (cave of Jade and its 3 temples of the seventeenth century).Lunch.Continued Haiphong Road through the provinces of Nam Dinh and Thai Binh. Day 11: HAI PHONG – HA LONG 

The tour guide and driver will get back and pick you up for the morning drive overland to Halong City, your entry point to the Bay of the World Heritage by UNESCO. Thousands of islands rise dramatically from the waters of Halong Bay and, to further their beauty, intricate cave systems naturally exist throughout these limestone karst formations. The traditional styled junk will cruise in between the towering islands, visit a limestone cave in the afternoon and do some kayaking and swimming (depending on the weather) Your accommodation tonight is a truly special experience – sleeping on a boat surrounded by high limestone karsts. Overnight on board.

 

Day 12: HALONG – HANOI 

Wake in the heart of Halong Bay and breakfast on board. Continuation of the cruise among the surrounding islands. Arriving at the jetty around noon.

Back to Hanoi. Overnight in hotel

 

Day 13: HANOI – VILLAGE DUONG LAM – HANOI 

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning road to the ancient village of Duong Lam. This cultural site, still unknown, retained the old structure of Vietnamese villages with its front door, banyan, her temple, her communal house and his house dedicated to ancestor worship, houses in laterite. The culinary specialties of the village are the Mia chicken, soy sauce, peanut candies, roasted sweet potatoes, rice cakes ...
